I am pregnant again i am only 8 weeks my
first child was taken by cps on March 2007
my daughter was only 3 months when they
took her, we lived in Washington at the
time now we are in Oregon. Cps wrongfully
took my baby they were false reports and
we are struggling to get her back, cps
does have pictures of bruising on my
daughters back but it looks like makeup,
we would never do any harm to our
children. like i said i am pregnant i
want to know if cps will take this child,
i had a conversation with my lawyer and
she said she wants me to keep this baby.
We are in Oregon and we are still dealing
with the case worker in Washington
meanwhile our daughter is here in Oregon
thats the reason why we moved here in the
first place, cps says we were 'running
away' when we moved to Washington(we were
first in Oregon then we moved to
Washington we were there for a year
because my husband had two jobs there then
we moved back to Oregon) now that are
saying the same thing now that we are in
Oregon, 'what are we running from"? i know
cps thinks they can control peoples lives
and lie, for instance they were saying i
drank when i was pregnant and that i
neglected my daughter witch is not true, i
just need some advice if cps will take my
child. again!!

I hate cps but if they have validity they
will take your kid away, I have had
someone call on me with false reports but
my file was closed in two weeks but it is
still on file even though it was closed.
They called on me for abuse, neglect, not
feeding my kids and the child-care
provider suffering severe depression. Now
I had to provide numbers of my doctor
nurses, social communities etc.
YOU need proof, especially when it comes
to them
Both my kids were born with Mongolian
marks (birth marks that are pale grey,
usually located on their back/bum, this
happens in people of native American,
Mediterranean and of Asian decent. I had
a case-worker come to my house to verify
that I had food, to check the house and
safety, in regards to my children, I
passed there, the worker said it was
probably just a false call, although she
would still need to verify with my doctor
(weight ect).
I dont know law in the states, but if they
have serious proof, you are screwed but if
you are not lying or someone else
committed the faults , not only can you
SUE for slander but you can go for
contempt and a few other things.
They can't touch you for drinking during
pregnancy, unless it was severe drinking
or hard rugs. Alot of us have drank
during our pregnancy, I had a few glasses
of wine over the holidays and there is no
law against it only morals.
Neglect can mean anything, you neglected
something one time, everyone parent can
say maybe we neglected to put a diaper or
to change them (not intentionally) but
when cps says neglect that is hard core.
CPS usually doesnt come in for minor
stuff, they usually have valid proof but
they cant take your second kid away,
unless there is reason for them to do so.
My suggestions and act quick
Take a parenting course
Be around people
attend birthing group or other social
groups
Go to play groups
Talk to a counsellor
etc etc
If you can be honest with yourself and
others, they cannot do nothing.

Thats the thing i never drank when i was
pregnant & i never neglected my
daughter cps is just saying that. right
now i am talking to a counselor i have a
home health nurse come here also i want to
do everything to prove to cps that i can
care for my child witch i can. cps is
making us go through a lot right because
we disagreed on dependency when i should
have agreed and went to a trial. We are
going to individual counseling, marriage
counseling & they want my husband to
do anger management witch he does not
need. We see our daughter only twice a
week for two hours we do not deserve this
we are good people and cps in Washington
lies about us so much its ridiculous.

What proof do they have other than these
photos? Who called CPS in the first place
(daycare, family members, friends)?
What part of Washington did you live?
Where are in Oregon? There are a lot of
towns on the border and living in them
wouldn't mean 'running' away. If you are
consistent with your visitation and your
commitment to get your daughter back, you
will.
Why wouldn't your husband do everything he
could (anger management classes) to get
your child back? I'd do whatever I could
if my child was taken from me, whether it
was done rightly or wrongly, I'd walk
through fire to get my child back.
It depends on what is within your file, if
you are fit parents, whether CPS will take
this child also.
Prove the lies false and everything will
work out.

Hun if they have no proof then you can
call them on hear say!!!
Talk to a lawyer, you have so much
availabe to fight with nowadays

We are doing everything
right now cps is telling us to do.
