Need ideas for a birthday dinner! Posted: 03-14-08 12:32pm
All right, its my boyfriends birthday on
the 24th. I was planning on giving this a
romantic feel to it, and of course I can
picture everything but what we are
eating..
I know he loves it when I cook for
him because he knows I'm taking a step out
of my comfort zone and doing something for
him. The problem is when it comes to
planning meals my mind just goes blank.
Any ideas? My cooking skills are laughable
but I figure if I pick something now then
I can practice it before I make it for
him.
Thanks!

Hmmmm, maybe you could do a themed meal
like:
1. Soups of the world (although that would
be a lot of soups to prepare)
2. Meat gallery (fried chicken, turkey and
gravy, roast beef, etc)
Or you could just do a meal filled w/
yummy food, here's wut I think is yummy:
1. Eggrolls
2. Turkey, potatoes, gravy
3. French fries
4. Chicken noodle soup
5. Pot pies
6. Spagetti w/ meatballs/garlic bread
7. Salmon
8. Shrimp
9. Sausages w/ eggs
10. Cauliflower w/ peas (one of the foods
only I seem to like...)
11. Mackerel (its super yummy, but I heard
its not the healthiest food...)
12. Beef pot roast
13. Chicken nuggets
I can't think of anything else off the top
of my head, sorry I wasn't more helpful
