Went to a hiv clinic for a 3rd hiv test 8
months after first and last exposure-
fellatio perfomed on me. All 3 negative.
Worried if the last blood test infected
me. Technician came with needle that had a
cap on it but wrapped. Needle had no
visible blood. Was attached to vacutainer
and blood drwan out. Scared to death. No
sexual exposure whatsoever. Is blood test
an exposure. Please help

I don't see how this posed a problem. I
don't think you need another test
especially if you have not exposed
yourself. You worry too much. Don't get
carried away. You've done great and
should now relax and enjoy your life
without HIV.
You have thought about HIV and tests for a
long time now and I think it is time to
let go. You can have your life back now
Congratulations.

You are very precious and dear Mson.
Homer too. You truly are a light shining

Both of you keep up your good work.

Does that mean that i can go ahead in life
without any test? I swear by our lord
almighty...i have not put myself at any
risk at all after the one i did in mar,07
but for which i tested thrice. I only have
been worrying over this blood test. Can i
go ahead and get married? Also can anxiety
create symptoms to appear? I feel pain in
on and off armpits and groin, although i
have put on nearly 7 kgs after this test.
Please tell me if i can go ahead with my
life and wife to be and get married?

Get married and have a great life. Listen,
if you can not let this go then get tested
one more time just to put it to bed
forever and never worry about it again if
that is what you want to do. I think it is
a wast of time but whatever it takes to
make you refocus on something else...you
need to put this behind you and focus on
your future and future wife.

One more test then and that is it.
Testing is not an exposure. It is a
process that you must go through to get
your test results. You have to trust
yourself. Embrace yourself as a person
who has gone through the process of
testing and found NOT to have HIV. You've
had several testings even. I really
commend you for that. Maybe you have an
obsession about the whole HIV thing.
Please let go after this other test that I
don't think you need and trust the lab.
They know what they are doing.
I think you need a counselor.
Why are you doing this to yourself? You
would have to wait three months from the
day you went to the lab. The day you
think you might have been exposed. Maybe
that is the thing to do. Nothing else but
wait three months. If it is still
necessary for you to take the test after
three months, then go for it.
Which part of the world are you in? The
reason I am asking is because most
developed countries are very good with the
lab work.
About anxiety and symptoms, it is likely
that stressing yourself out will cause
your body to be diseased with all sorts of
things. Be careful with that and stop
being in denial about your wonderful test
results.
Here's to hoping you find closure.
Cheers

Dear moderator/muthoni
I am awafully for posting a bit too
much... I just want to know that will be
right if I choose to get married and
IGNORE TEST?
I hope that will be a right decision to
make. As far my mental make up, if it get
worse i will see clinical psychologist. I
dont want to repeat test to be very very
honest with you.
Cheif, you said, getting tested is a WASTE
OF TIME, hence i assume that i do not need
any test as you experts and knowledgable
people do not see any risk in my
situation. I WILL GET MARRIED AND START
LIVING and I hope you would only recommend
this. Love you all

Listen to yourself. You are fine my
friend but if it takes another test to
give you peace of mind, there is nothing
you can do but take the test. You are
using the word IGNORE and there is nothing
to ignore if you have no peace of mind.
The tests say you are negative. Let it
be.
I believe from what you have told us that
you DO NOT have HIV but if you do not
believe yourself, it is a sad state of
affairs. Really.
It is entirely up to you what you do. You
have the powerful. To thy own self be
true...
Always

With your words of encouragement and hope?
I saw something the other day on this
forum about living with HIV/AIDS and
having Hope. What a beautiful thing is
Hope and Living with it.

Hi everybody!
How are you all?
I am sorry to have come back again, but
this time not with a Q instead to share
with you guys that i had posted a question
to the doctor on this forum and he/she
clearly replied back saying that I didn't
require a test as I was not at risk and
mentioned that i could get married. Now i
hope i can go back and concentrate on my
life. I yet get some anxiety attacks but
its become easier than before to fight
back and i am hoping some day i will win
completely.... I love you people. YOU ALL
ARE IN MY PRAYERS AND KEEP ME IN URS TOO.
Jesus is with all of us, praise be to the
lord
