Nerve pain with lower back pain Posted: 05-26-08 09:38am
Hi, I am 37 years of age female and I have
a question concerning nerve pain. I have
had one partial herniated disc removed but
not before I had lost half of the feeling
in one of my legs. I have since had
another massive surgery on my back which
enabled me to be mobile. I have several
different types of pain, nerve, muscle,
and bone. I of course am medicated for the
symptoms.
The problem is that although I understand
and recognize the results of the nerve
pain. I have found that when I am "up",
sitting in the only chair my back allows
for any length of time I have pain in my
feet but its not the normal burning. It
feels more like I have bruises on the
bottom of my feet when I try to stand or
walk. I would appreciate any insight into
this type of pain that is occurring in my
feet.
Thank you,
Mrscrazyfrog

Hello Mrscrazyfrog,
Welcome to this forum!!!!
Sorry to hear about the pain, especially
the nerve issues that you are having.
May I suggest that you go back to your
spinal surgeon and get his/her opinion on
the nerve issues that you are having with
your feet.
THEN seek out the very best spinal surgeon
in your area and get the opinion of that
doctor. It is always a good idea to get a
second opinion.
