Hello!

My name is Tanya, i'm 21 years old and my fiance is 28 and we recently found out I was pregnant with our first. It was a huge shock but a good surprise and taken extremely well by the entire family Smile

I'm just about 8 weeks along and had my first ultrasound on Thursday. I ended up going to the hospital on Wednesday because I thought i was spotting (mind you it was once and it was hardly noticeable but I was simply being precautious). Anyways everything looked great on the U/S she said there was no source of bleeding and you could see the baby and the sac very clearly.

I'm still pretty nervous. I'm not certain why. I have some pretty awful morning sickness and food aversions but other then that i'm feeling pretty good.

Anyways just wanted to introduce myself
Tanya

thanks so much Smile I'm relieved to know being nervous is normal because i'm generally a very laid back person and I was starting to think I was bordering on paranoia lol

I think i'll be about the only person to say this but to some degree I like morning sickness (in my case night and afternoon sickness) because it's the only thing thats making this pregnancy real thus far. I've actually lost about 10 pounds due to not being able to eat and vomiting and i'm certainly not showing so I really don't feel pregnant at all.

congrats on your pregnancy!

im 25weeks along, i was like you laid back before pregnancy, but started worrying about things more now that im pregnant! lol like newmommy said, its normal the first time around:)

i had bad morning sickness for the first 3 months, it hit right at christmas, i couldn't keep a thing down for a while, even water came up sometimes, but it got better Smile
For some women morning sickness lasts for the first 3 months, i get alittle sick now and then if i ate something that didnt sit right.
Anyways congrats again, make sure to take your vitamins:)
