hi, this is kinda new for me but i dont
really know who to ask about this stuff.
im 16 and have been in a relationship for
1year and 5 months. for the past couple
months iv been really depresssed. i had
lost 25 pounds in one month.i cant eat or
sleep unless i take something.i have pains
in my stomache.and i havent been able to
wake up happy in a good 5 months now.all i
think about it how i dont wanna be on the
earth anymore; and would anyone even miss
me?when i get mad witch is frequent and
itll be over the smallest thing (ex: my
mom asks me to clean my room) i will flip
out and throw things scream, the cops have
been to my house several times for me. and
i dont knwo what to do-i feel very
depressed unloved, hopelesss and that i
lost who i really was. i used to go out
and party with my girls and have a great
time and now i dont do anything im to
upset to even get up for school. iv starte
seeing a therapist ony 2 sessions so far.
i dont know whats wrong with me and why im
so angry/upset
Given your symptoms you could be
experiencing a neurotic type of
depression. Anxiety episodes can also be
present in neurotic depression although
depressive thoughts are still dominant.
Good for you that you are going to
psychotherapy. Antidepressant drugs like
those from the group of SSRI can also be
useful.
