Alaina- I like it, but I prefer the
spelling Elaina. It looks more correct.
Anastasia Emberlyn- I like Anastasia, but
not Emberlyn. Ember is not a name, and
putting lyn on it does not make it one. In
fact, I'd rather see Ember as a name than
Emberlyn.
Angelina Chase- okay, but I prefer Angela
and Angelica, to avoid association with
Ms. Jolie. Chase is just a word to me.
Arielle- I love this name
Avrielle- too fancy and made-up sounding.
I prefer Arielle.
Belapollina- seems like a name someone
invented to get the nickname Bella. I like
Apollina, though.
Brynja Faye- very nice! I like this
combination a lot.
Cambria- this is an old name for Wales,
not a name for a person. It sounds like a
car.
Corah Lillika- I like Cora, but the h at
the end makes it look misspelled.
Corrina Amélie- Corinna is the correct
spelling. It drives me nuts that so many
people think Corinne/Corinna should have
two Rs and one N. Corinna Amelie would be
a gorgeous combination.
Dulcinea- absolutely love it.
Emberlyn Sapphire- Emberlyn doesn't seem
like a real name, as I said before.
Sapphire is okay as a middle name, but I'd
use something a little less trendy/made-up
as the first name, because otherwise it
sounds kind of downmarket.
Emery Jadis- Emery is a boys' name. Jadis-
like the witch in Narnia? Emily Jadis
would be okay.
Faelien- too close too alien. Fae (I
prefer Faye) is okay.
Fairamay- seems made-up and looks like a
last name.
Farrah- seems kind of trendy.
Fiona Winter- nice combination. Winter
would be a bit much as a first name, but
here it's not bad.
Greta Lucia- very pretty.
Isabella Korrin- Isabella Corinne would be
a lot better.
Ivy Pearl- I like it.
Jessamine Sage- sort of plant-y. I like
Sage and love Jessamine, but not together.
Liliana Noelle- pretty.
Lily Chanterelle- I like Lily, though it's
awfully popular. Chanterelle is sort of
tacky and overly fancy. It reminds me of a
chandelier. What about Chantal?
Luciana Jade- I love Luciana but don't
care for Jade. It used to be an insult. I
like Luciana Jane, and that sounds almost
the same.
Lucienne Jane Starling- I love Lucienne
and Jane. Starlings are birds.
Pasha- this was a title used in the
Ottoman Empire. Not a name. I'd think it
was kind of funny if I saw it used as a
girl's name, like I did when I saw a girl
in the paper named Kasha (which is a type
of food).
Phaedra- love it!
Poeta Scarlet- poeta looks like poet with
an a. The feminine form of poet is
poetess, not poeta (not that poetess or
poet are names).
Rísingeil- might have problems with the
pronunciation.
Ruviana- it's okay.
Samara Teal- Samarra is a place, Samara
reminds me of The Ring. Teal is a color.
Seraphina- gorgeous. I would love to see
this actually used as a name.
Sophia- pretty but very popular.
Vashti- it's okay.
