Nipple Hair

I've done lots of research on this subject, because I know it isn't uncommon. However, I haven't heard of a case similar to mine.
I have very thick and dark nipple hair. It is strange hair and I don't have anything like it anywhere else on my body. The hairs are so thick and dark that they can be seen underneath the skin. Often they can be squeezed out. Other times they surface and when I pluck them, they are long below the surface and they have a thicker black end. They are very corse, so to let them grow out would be absurd! When I try to pluck or squeeze them out, it doesn't always work since they are so thick. My nipples end up scabbing and it is so embarrassing! There are about 10 per nipple around the areola. I really have a hard time believing electrolysis would work as they grow in infrequent places. It makes me very self conscious and I hope there is something that can be done about it! Please help!

I have a problem similar to yours, I do have hair around mine as well. Not like you describe by any means, but what I do is shave. It might sound weird but it is your best bet.

plucking is best. i read somewhere that shaving that area might make it prone to infection (the pores around the nipple)

If the hairs are already dark and thick, then shaving would most likely cause MORE dark and thick hairs to grow out, so I wouldn't advise that. Same thing with your legs, the first time you shaved them they were just little blond hairs, now look at them.

I would just pluck if there are only ten per breast, it pulls the entire root out so you have more time before the hair comes back. Nair and Veet only burn off the surface of the hair.

As for the hairs under the skin that you can see, perhaps refrain from squeezing the hair out since a scab or a red spot it more noticable, and just put a bit of your skin coloured make up on them if you know your breast are going to be bared.

Remember; these little tiney-weenie insecurities of ours (which are actually HUGE) are seldom ever taken notice by others.

thats actually a myth that hair grows back darker and thicker...it just feels that way bc you have shaved it..also, i wouldn't reccommend nair for the nipple area since that skin is more sensitive
