Q: No heart beat in 7th week

Dear members,

I had very slight abdomen pain for 2 days( for say 10- 15 minutes). then it stopped totally. It was saturday and sunday.Then as usual I went for my job and during job I had lifted a weight of a parcel ( might be 5kgs). On same day evening i had 3- 4 drops of blood on my panty. But no pain was there. Then on the next day ( tuesday) we went to doctor and she did a ultrasound . As per my Last period date I was 7 weeks pregnant . But there was no baby sign on ultrasound and no heart beat. Doctor said my ovultaion was late. also said she can not say anything now and asked me to come on next week for another ultrasound test. After mondy I dont have any bleeding or pain in abdomen. Is it common to experience such small bleeding ? and also when can one find heart beat of baby ?

You mean the doctor saw an egg and a yolk sac or nothing but an empty womb?,If she only saw an a yolk sac and no baby then take a deep breath and relax ,it could be just too early to see the baby,they can usually see a heartbeat at 5-6 weeks,the same goes for an empty womb really if your less than 4 weeks pregnant then its possible to see nothing at all,and its perfectly possible you ovulated much later than expected,and take your doctor not being able to tell you whats going on as a good sign this means she probably thinks your just not as far as you thought. also if you are earlier on than you thought then it was more than likely implantation bleeding you have had :)hope everything works out ok for you Smile
