Q: no heartbeat ultrasound

I accidentally drank 4 bottles of water instead of 2 bottles of water before my ultrasound. They did the belly and vaginal ultrasounds and found no heartbeat. They said the baby measures 7 weeks 4 days and that they should've seen the heartbeat. I had blood tests since then and the first time the levels went up and the second time the levels went down. I have another ultrasound on Tuesday. Do you think the fact that I drank double the amount of water has anything to do with the no hearbeat. They told me that I had a miscarriage and I don't want to believe it. I just thought maybe the water had something to do with it.

Unfortunately, I don't think the water would have anything to do with it. Especially if they did blood tests & the levels went down.. I'm so sorry for your loss. I experienced the same thing with my first pregnancy. If you were trying to conceive, the good news is, you are VERY fertile right after a miscarriage. I was pregnant again in 2 weeks (although that was certainly not planned). Ask your doctor if it's safe to start trying again right away! & Again, I'm really sorry. Sad
