Not symptoms of brain cancer ?
Posted: 04-26-08 20:53pm

I have been to the dctors over the past 18 months about 6 times as i have not been feeling well but each time i usually go back with different problems
now they are all sort of happening at once most days
Heres what i have
*Severe headaches sometimes wake up with them and they last days
*Really aching legs (not all the time) at night not kind of pain when youve been to the gym but like a growing pain
*Nausea (thought i was pregnant it was so bad but im not!)
*Sore eyes
*Deep loud thumping in ear (right ear)
*Pins and needles in right hand occasionally
*uncontrollable twitches near right side of my mouth like drooping?!
*Nightmares-real bad nightmares!
*strange feelings in head but not painful just odd
*terrible issues with remembering stuff at work!
I dont know why cuz i have a happy life and am not stressed and exercise and eat well and im not over weight or under and generally im never ill so im worried because ive been feeling like my heads in a vice and the nausea was so bad in the mornings hence why i thought i was pregnant!
If you know please help, i feel so dumb keeping going to the doctor i think he thinks im mad! lol
Thanks, Laura .

What kind of doctor are you seeing? I would recommend seeing a neurologist. A CT scan may be of value to help determine the source of your symptoms. You should never feel dumb for going to the doctor for continuing problems. You may be suffering from migraine headaches but you need to have some more tests done to rule out any other serious conditions.

thanks im seing the university doctor, i have had migraines in the past and these seem different when i had migraines they were always in the afternoon and usually on one side of my head and in my eyes these are real bad in the mornings and generally last all day but get better in the day, sometimes they last like 3 or 4 days and they get real bad when i bend over ie at work when i bend over
yeh i wil go see someone else as im getting to the stage where the nausea and thumping is driving me nuts and my husband is coming home from work and rubbing my legs as they ache so bad, i thought it was from walking the dog but im super fit and live at the gym so maybe not!?!

I don't think your legs ache from walking the dog if your are in shape. I would see a neurologist and ask that they do a chemistry panel. If you are low in calcium, potassium or magnesium your legs can ache and you may get leg cramps. The headaches warrant further investigation. Let me know how you do with the doctor.
