I feel like this is a silly question,
however with my last PG this happened. I
had pPROM at 34+5 with my last PG and one
- two days before I ruptured my mouth went
numb. Tingling in my tongue, lips, and
gums. My water borke at 5:10 in the
morning and I went on to deliver my son a
little over 5 weeks early.
Today I am experienceing the same type of
numbness in my mouth. I am currently at
28+4 and my OB did a fetal fibronectin
test that was negative on Monday. I feel
as if I am being paranoid, but what could
be the cause of this? In labor and
delivery with my son the admitting nurse
asked me if I had experienced any numbness
of my mouth.
