OB appointment for pregnancy Posted: 03-12-08 20:14pm
Sorry it took me so long...i have been
running around all day long. The
appointment today was actually pretty
boring. They weighed me and I met with the
doctor in her office. She asked me a few
questions, and gave me a list of
medications I could take since I have a
cold....and that was pretty much it.
I go back monday to talk to the nurse and
do all the history on me and my boyfriend
and also to get my prenatal blood work
done.
Then I have another appointment set up for
April 9th for the first ob appointment and
to get the first ultrasound done.

April 9th is my b-day!! lol I havent had
my "real" first appt yet. Ive had 2
ultrasounds and bloodwork tho. Everytime I
went in my OB would be in surgey and asked
if I could come back on another day.

Get used to the boring appointments, most
of them will be like that. The ultrasound
appointments are really cool! And hearing
the heartbeat - the rest (like the pap,
etc) I could totally do without!

Yea I could do without them also, but I
cant wait to see the heartbeat!!!! It
seems so far away.

Well technically this is my second
pregnancy, becuase I had a miscarriage due
to a blighted ovum. But this will be my
first kid.

yes the heartbeat IS amazing! You will
most likely cry. To me its the most
beautiful noise ever until you hear its
first cry!
