Ok so, sorry for posting so many
questions...just have a lot of them. So I
have an issue with skin picking? Like I
have had acne for a long time but I sit
and can like pick my skin for hours. When
I was little I would make knots in my hair
and rip them out. Now I just have this
habit of scratching my scalp. And if I
scratch one part more than the rest I have
to do the whole scalp that much. I usually
only do this at bedtime. Ok so it's a
weird habit but...I do do it a lot and am
embarassed when I do it but...
It's weird too because it started out as a
fear of lice and ticks....I would search
my scalp for an hour before bedtime to
make sure I didn't have any. And I would
freak out cuz I swore I could feel them...

Many people that have a mood disorder also
suffer with OCD. This is a common feature
with bipolar disorder. It is considered a
comorbid diagnosis. Have you mentioned
this to your doctor? This is often treated
with therapy.

i haven't told my doctor because I don't
know...it's embarrassing and I didn't
think it was relevant. I just have a bunch
of little stuff...like hearing
voices...and music...only like a few
random times and this stuff...and short
bouts of eating disorders...and by short I
mean week by week...lol yeah i'm just not
sure it's relevant...I've just told them
about my depression really...

This is absolutely relevant. You need to
be up front with your doctor. Do you keep
a mood chart? These can be found on line.
Just do a search for "mood chart" . There
are several different kinds. It will help
you track your moods and progress and is a
great tool for the doctor. You may want to
try this if you don't use one yet.
Auditory hallucinations need to be
addressed. Just let your doctor know. The
doctor may not change a thing in your
treatment plan.
