I just started my first cycle of ortho
evra today, it is also my first time using
any form of hormonal birth control. After
about 6 hours of having the patch on I
became nauseous, had a headache, but also
became very light-headed which is the part
that worried me. I know there have been
alot of problems and health risks for some
women taking this which has me slightly
worried and I know is the reason I'm
thinking there might be something wrong
with me. I really like the idea of this
birthcontrol and my doctor didn't seem to
think I would be a major risk for health
problems but you never know. I dont know
anyone who has taken this kind so anyone
out there care to share their experiences?
You can't talk about some side effects so
soon (6 hours) after start using this type
of hormonal contraception. Nausea,
headache and being light-headed are so
general symptoms that may not be
necessarily due to the hormonal
contraception. I believe that excitement
makes you to think like that. But if
symptoms continue or become worse you may
accuse the hormones causing them.
Do you still have those symptoms?
There are certain risks for your health
especially if you are smoker or you have
increased blood clothing ability.
