pain under bottom middle of ribs Posted: 07-21-08 18:05pm
it is a sharp throbbing pain, throbs like
a spasm. seems to happen randomly though
when I burp it also seems to trigger it,
also when i sleep i have this pain but
when I put my arms up it goes away.
I have pretty severe heartburn that i
control with Omeprazole, everything else
seems normal there is no vomiting or
anything else like that. At first I
thought it was just indigestion, but it is
now going on the 5th day with no change.
How long you have been experiencing
heartburn?
Have you ever had similar stomach pains in
the past?

well I have had heartburn for probably 2
years now, I actually went to a clinic
they think it might be my diaphragm, I'm
supposed to check back in a week or so,
they didn't run really any tests other
then feeling around my stomach and back
area. Not sure If I should keep following
this path (no insurance) or go straight to
a specialist to avoid all the extra cost.
You can perform Helicobacter pillory test
and gastroscopy because you have these
symptoms for more than 2 years.
You can consult some gastroenterologist
about this.

Well it appears they may have been right,
when I was there, their was a medical
student that was going into a certain
specialty(not sure what it was), she did
some massaging and popping of my back and
diaphragm areas. The pain is now gone so
that seemed to help.
