okay so i have had Ovarian cysts for the
past 2 1/2 years... i have ended up in the
ER because of an Ovarian cysts that was so
painful i could not move much at all just
to find out it was the size of a grape
fruit and i'm not vary big (pants are a
size 5) i have been on birth control for
it but that took care of them but made me
gain 40 pounds. They only grow on my left
side though witch is crippling when i
ovulate from that side. So is there a
birth control that people seem to not gain
as much weight on or a different way to
get rid of them for good?

What birth control did they put you on? I
recently got out of the er for a cyst that
had been huge and ended up rupturing,
which sucks. They put me on Lo Ovral. I
am worried about gaining weight. But as
far as I know, it just depends on the
person. Which one are you on?

you can try dieting and working out to
prevent anymore weight gain.

good... dieting never seems to work sents
i already eat really healthy... and i push
carts all the time at work lots of times
for hours strate out in the heat and run a
mile every day along with play with my
younger brother...

An endometroid cyst is caused by
endometriosis and is formed when a tiny
patch of the endometrial tissue bleeds and
sloughs off. The tissue is then
transplanted someplace else where it grows
and enlarges. As the blood build up goes
on increasing the tissue turns a dark
brownish shade and often referred to as
chocolate cyst. When the cyst finally
ruptures, the materials contained within
spills over into the utereus, bowels and
the pelvis. A major symptom associated
with endometriosis is severe incessant
pain. The pain peaks when the cyst
ruptures.
