I have a young brother, 15 years of age,
that has had "Panic Attacks" for some
years now. The reason the doctors call
them panic attacks is because they are not
sure what it is. Some thought it was
asthma.. but I don't know.. every time it
happens he takes an inhaler.
I just felt like making a post here to see
if this happens to anyone else...
It happens to him at the most random
times. He might be walking around and he
starts getting dizzy, he might be eating
lunch and his chest starts hurting.. But
what happens is his chest starts hurting
or he gets dizzy, then he starts
struggling for breath saying he can't
breathe. his chest hurts really bad.. Oh,
and he says he's really hot..
It always goes away, though, after a
couple of minutes (maybe 5 maybe 10 maybe
20..) It's usually when my mom comes and
does stuff, but some times he can go on
his own.
It was also suggested that protien would
help? I don't know lol
That's all I can really say.. Don't know
much else. Of course we went through that
stage, "Is he faking to stay home from
school?" type thing..
Anyone else had this problem before?

They thought it was panic but still gave
him an inhaler?
It sounds like it could be panic,
definitely. The best way to treat panic
attacks are to see a psychologist.
