Parental Frustration
Posted: 04-11-08 17:02pm

Hannah has been frustrating lately, so I need to vent a little. She has become clingy to mom only again-boy am I not a fan of that. When she weakes up in the morning (at 5:30 or 6 am!) all she wants is mom mom mom and breakfast, but I can't really get her breakfast if she won't let me put her down! The other thing is that she's becoming wayyy to picky when it comes to what's for meals. If I give her something she disapproves of she screams and shakes her head no and gets all mad about it and refuses to eat. Of course, I just let her be mad about it because I am not going to be a short order cook!

LAstly, my children are slovenly and can't keep things tidy to save their lives. The youngest, being only 2 I can understand, but the oldest just doesn't seem to get it. Clothes go on the floor, there's a trail of debris that follows her when she gets home from school, I just can't get her to pick up after herself without me nagging incessently!

That's it. Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh man. I'm sorry you're gettin frustrated!!

Oni is like a damn tazmanian devil!!! I swear!!

Maybe you could give your oldest chores? And reward her with a dollar a week? To give her intitiative(sp?) to want to be more clean!!
