Penis desensitized after ejaculation
Posted: 04-08-08 23:16pm

Ok, so for the first time ever I was totally desensitized after only one ejaculation having sex with my gf and was not able to achieve a second erection even after an hour of waiting. This has never been a problem for me and it is freaking me out. The only difference between my GF now and my past GF's is that I've had way more protected sex with her than with my ex's. In other words we started with protected sex with my ex's and shortly there after had unprotected sex. With my current GF we've started with protected sex and continued using condoms ever since. Tonight was the very first time me and my current GF had unprotected sex. My question is: Is it possible that my penis got so used to having sex with a condom, that when the sensitivity went through the roof without a condom that it was overwhelmed after the first ejaculation causing it to become desensitized?
Is having unprotected sex something my penis would need to get used to because of the change in sensitivity and because I've been using protection for so long?

This is the only explanation I can personally come up with. My GF and I have always had great sex in fact its the best sex either one of us has ever had, and we love each other dearly so I fail to see how it might be a mental block. All I know is I went numb after the first ejaculation and am only now starting to get some pleasurable sensation back (2 hours later). Please help me out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated my friends. Share with me your collective wisdom.

I honestly can't tell you because I myself have only practised safe sex with condoms but I'm told there is a bit of a difference that takes a little bit of getting used to. Don't worry about it that much. It's not that big a step and you're probably reading too much into it.

Here's the best advice I can give you-

one time is never something to worry about. If it keeps happening time after time, then you've got something to worry about. However, just once isn't bad because it could have been caused by a million different things.

Don't worry about it, shrug it off, and your next time will be great!
