period not starting
Posted: 04-13-08 09:54am

I have an "eating disorder" for one, where i cannot eat fruit and veg without feeling sick. I only mentioned that incase it could be in any way related to what i am about to explain. Basically, practically (other than the odd few) everyone has already started thei period and i feel extremely left out and abnormal in some way. I have had discharge, which once a month sometimes does get darker and becomes brown, and for the last few months when i have wiped myself i have sometimes noticed blood on the toilet paper, but only in the discharge. However, this has been going on for a matter of months now, yet still i have no period. Its getting to the point where i am very paranoid and worried about it and just want some good advice. Please help as i am in serious need. Thank you.

How old are you? I didn't get my period until I was 16. You could just be a late bloomer Smile

If not eating fruits and vegetables means you aren't getting adequate nutrition (which is very likely) then that could delay your period.

It says in your profile that you were born in 1968.. So did you just stop getting it? Yes.. I have heard that too what Georgia is saying about the nutrition.. That happens to me to if I stop and suddenly start eathing them gain
