I recently read an article about some of
the pick up myths used by men. Quite
interesting I must say but as a woman who
are the targets of this techniques I felt
little indignant in the beginning. But as
I read the topic like “Do women know
they are going to sleep with a man within
10 seconds of meeting them or the one
“Why all women don’t want jerks” I
could not help but agree on certain
points. It is true that when I go to a bar
and find a guy approaching me I don’t
like, I suddenly stiffen up or when I am
talking to him I keep looking past him and
hope he get’s the hint. I personally
will welcome the straight forward approach
but when I was a teenager, I certainly
liked to play the “damsel in distress”
rescued by a good gentleman.
