Piercing Pain In Lower Back/upeer Butt Area Posted: 08-27-06 15:55pm
Hello, recently I have been having a
strong pain in the upper crevice of my
gluteus maximus.
This began a few days ago seemingly
shortly after a hard bike ride through the
back roads around my area. I am not sure
if this is the cause or has anything to do
with it but I figure everything is a
possiblity at this point.
At first it was ignored as I do get
injured alot through quads and such
however this does not seem to be going
away. After a few days I had discovered
that in the upper crevice of my rear end
is a veritcal extrustion about an 2-3
centimeters high, an inch long, and about
1/4 inch across.
I have tried icing this numerious times
assuming it was just a swelling due to me
not being on my bike in awhile and it
taking affect to me however it has done
nothing more then temporarily numb the
pain.
