So the other day my mom called me to tell
me my brothers girlfriends mom was in the
hospital she was showing symptoms of
having a stroke, they thought she had a
mild stroke but after doing a catscan etc,
she has 2 tumors in her brain that were
causing her brain to swell and gave her
the symptoms of a stroke, and they also
found out she has cancer in her lungs and
kidneys! Havent heard yet if the tumors in
her brain were cancerous or not, my
brothers been up there living with his gf
and her mom but hes going back to my
parents in a week because his girlfriends
dad hates him for some reason although if
he wasnt there her mom prob wouldnt have
went to the hospital, she was gona make a
dr appt, and she was the only one with a
valid drivers license besides my brother
so he drove her and hes been driving back
and forth with his gf to the hospital
Her mom and her and her dad are pot heads
though but now her mom can legally smoke
pot while shes doing chemotherapy, but she
has a good head about all of it, shes
ready to beat it! I think they caught it
early enough that the chemo will work out
good because the tumors were very small in
her kidneys and lungs , they removed the
tumors in her brain as well wich the
surgery was an hr and a half long so not
to bad, but please keep her in your
thoughts that all is well, it just seems
crazy out of nowhere she thought she was
having a mild stroke and now she has
cancer! She got feeling back in her leg
but not in her arm yet , i havent talked
to them yet though because theyve been at
the hospital everyday and stayed up for 3
days straight. they have cell phones but
it costs me too much money to call there
phones. but please pray for her that it
all goes well and they dont find anything
else serious. They wouldh ave never found
the cancer if she didnt go to the ER and
they didnt run the tests for the "stroke"
they thought she was having.

yeah, i think the stroke woulda been alot
easier to deal with, the drs thought it
was a stroke she was having since she had
all the symptoms of a stroke, until they
found the cancer and the tumors in her
brain etc.

that would be too much for me to handle
personally. thats a real shock!
I havent even caled to talk to my brother
or his gf lately because i dont know if
they are upset and stuff and aah i dunno
how to talk to them, i mean ive been
through cancer with my uncle and grandpa
but its different when its your mom. But
soon I am gonna try and call them. For now
michelle his gf is taking it pretty well
but my brothers there to help her out and
in a week or 2 he will be leaving and she
will be alone.

That will be tough on your brothers gf
when he leaves. I would be a basket case

yeah he is leaving for sure friday, her
dad hates him and said he HAS to leave, i
actually was able to talk to michelle the
other night, she is holding together
somewhat ok, she will start talkin about
her mom and break down in tears but i
think she is holding it together quite
well, she starts radiation this week, im
still waiting to hear if the tumors are
cancerous or not.
