2 years ago i was diagnosed with and auto immune disease and put on a drug called plaquenil. A year later i found myself going into therapy that eventually lead to a psychiatrist that diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. I have come to find out that the drug plaquenil has "side effects" of mental mood disorders, anxiety, paranoia, and nightmares (to name a few) when i went off this drug, after only a few days i felt like a new person i no longer needed any of the mood stabilizers.. I felt as if i had an exorcism! If any of you are on medication for any condition or reason, even birth control pills or otherwise, i beg you to please look into "all" the side effects to your medicines, you may not be mentally ill, it could just be your meds!

Please don't type in all caps. Thanks for you input. A lot of drugs are pretty scary, it's true! I'm glad you're feeling better!
