Honey, don't pick a name simply because someone else likes it!
You pick a name that both you and the father of this baby like-who cares what anyone else thinks? This is YOUR miracle. Name it whatever pleases the both of you.

Baby Naming

For naming a baby you should consider certain points like the name should be easy to pronounce for easy retention. The first names should match with the second name or last name.

Well first off there is no such name as a wrong name..it's what you feel is right and what you want to name your child because it's no one else's child but yours! But anyways..some names that I think are really cute for girls are Kayla, Katelyn, Ariana, Adrianna, Lauren, Stephanie, Victoria..you know those kinds of names I like. For boys I like, Antonio, Anthony, Andrew, Julian, Alex, and those kinds of names. I hope I helped you out.
Let me know what you decide.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I really needed help. The father just left me over a month ago. So, I haven't talked to him. I just try to focus on the positives.

When Have kids I want my boys name to be Kelly, Carter, or Trevor

girl names I like are Rachel, McKenzie, Skyler, Taylor, or Aimee

I have not put much thought into it becuase I dont plan on kidsmanytime soon, but like everyone else was saying, pick a name you like, it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks about it, i mean look at some of the names celebrities pick for their kids. just curious--How far along are you? and are you going to find out the sex?

The names you pick can't be that bad, I've gotten criticism from people even just overhearing me talk about the names I like. Doesn't change anything, I say and? because truth be told its your baby, you could name it cheerio or goldfish, or panda, or meatloaf, or something else totally random like that, its up to you. Not that you would name one of your kids that or anything....lol.

I have some advice...My husband and I decided not to tell anyone (family or friends) our name choice until after the baby is born and named. (though I do run it by strangers on website forums, for non-biased opinions). That way not only is it a fun surprise for them when they meet the baby I can introduce them to little Rose, but also because I know they are really opinionated and say negative things about my name style, and if they don't know the name until after the baby is born, they can't say anything bad about the name, because it will be too late. And after they see my Rose, they will be so in love with her, they won't even care what her name is!

I did not know the sex of my first born and I was stressing over a name also. I decided to pick a name that could be for a girl or a boy. Casey (boy) Kacy (girl). We named him Casey - he is now 24! It will not matter to you what his/her name is when you see that little face looking up at you. But.........if you are stressing over it, go online and search for baby names - you will find one you like and you still have plenty of time to decide.

lol - that is true. Actually, the only sites I have been to were (name your puppy) and there were hundreds. A friend of mine recently had a baby girl and named her Alyssa Katlyn - I thought that was pretty.

I think it is very, very sweet and not to common, but not to out there!!!!

I have been thinking of other names for you as well for boys: Benton, Bryson, Devan, Kellan, Landon, Parker, and Reagan.

I am excited for you. When are you going to find out if it is a boy or girl?

I am sorry, I just read your previous post - your ultrasound will be on the 24th. I can't wait to hear what you find out. Also, I think Cheree (pronounced Sha-re) as a middle name would be cute with Alyssa.
