im 22 i skateboard alot and ive been noticing this weird thing in my hip pelvis type area that feels like some cartilage or tendon getting stuck behind something and when i move my leg away from me it pops back out...my mom said it could be a hernia and its freaking me out .. but if its not what the heck is it!? thanks for any information

Hi It sounds like a hernia. Are you going to see the doctor? Read through the posts and the sticky on the top of this forum hernia mesh complications. If it is a hernia make sure you ask the surgeon questions about the hernia, how he/she plans to repair, recurrence, etc..

i have no health insurance. and very little money.. im gonna see a doc on monday hopefully , my moms setting it up.. but are these expenses gonna destroy my savings

Some places work with patients on a sliding fee scale who do not have insurance. Let us know what the doctor says.
