possible pregnancy or cysts ? Posted: 07-13-08 19:23pm
Ok so here goes, I started my period on
the 23rd and it lasted about 3 days. My
husband and I had sex on the 27th, the day
before I had some mild cramping but no
blood. Starting the day before yesterday,
I got really bad heartburn, then my boobs
started hurting, I thought it might be PMS
up until this morning. Now I know most
symptoms usually don't start til between
4-6 weeks but my periods usually start
between 31-38 days of my cycle. Could it
be cysts, or possible pregnancy? Has
anyone else had this happen?

It looks like you'd be due for your period
between the 24th of this month thru the
31st. This means, you'd be ovulating
around this time. A woman ovulates 2 weeks
prior to her period starting. In a perfect
28 day cycle, she ovulates 2 weeks after
the first day of her last period which is
also 2 weeks before the start of her next
period. Most woman do not have perfect
cycles. However, ALL women ovulate 2 weeks
prior to their expected period. It would
be a rogue cycle that had you ovulating on
day 4-6 of your cycle.
If you don't start your period by the
start of next month, take a test. Sore
breasts can be from too much caffeine, PMS
and hormonal issues. Heartburn isn't a
pregnancy symptom until much later
(usually late pregnancy when there is a
small person pushing on your stomach and
not enough room for food and baby inside
you).
