possible pregnancy ? Posted: 04-09-08 05:58am
I'm about 100% sure I haven't missed one
but only 98% sure I took them all on time
- I run on auto-pilot when taking my pill
in the morning and sometimes forget to
take them 'on time.'
I'm 18 and I've been having unprotected
sex with my boyfriend.
2 days ago I first noticed a bit of
spotting and browny blood patches..
Then today I got a really bad headache,
cramps and blood clots.
Prior to my last period I thought I was
pregnant [I had tender breasts, was
spotting, had a headache and was extremely
tired] so took a pregnancy test, then 3
days after I took another - both came back
as negative.
But now it's started again and I don't
know what to do!
I'm confused - could I be pregnant?
If not, then what else could it be?
Please help!
OH also I forgot to say that I have been
eating more than usual... although this
could be a state of mind or the changing
of the weather (from summer to winter) and
also that I did have a bloodtest done to
see if I was pregnant but have not called
for the results... I'm too nervous

Ok, first, chances are you aren't
pregnant. Birth control sometimes causes
weird hormonal changes that doesn't always
work like they're supposed to.
So no, it really doesn't sound like you're
pregnnat, especially because you are
spotting. All the symptoms of pregnancy
could also just be symptoms of ANY
hormonal change (caused by birth control
or other things)
So call and check the results of your
blood test, you probably will hear them
tell you negative. But you need to know!
And if these symptoms are really bugging
you, see a gyno to switch to a pill that
works better for you.
