I want to know if I have a TMJ problem. I
inherited a bad set of teeth, crowding in
my mouth so I got braces when I was 14.
The dentist then removed 2 teeth on one
side of my upper jaw. Since then my face
has gotten more asymmetrical and my bite
is not straight. I am chewing most of my
food on my right side because thats where
most of my teeth come together. I am now
26 and recently I started experiencing a
slight pain or pressure on my left ear. I
suspected it was caused by a wisdom tooth
that had got stuck and infected so I had
it removed. That helped a bit but I still
feel a bit of pressure on the ear or the
jaw muscle. Do you have any
recommendations for me? Is there any risk
of this getting worse? Should I try to get
my bite corrected?

Weather this gets worse or not depends on
you. I would try to get the bite
corrected. but do it with a good ortho
that will take muscles into consideration.
this may not be tmj but just a bad bite
