I had my bilateral inguinal hernias
treated on the 3rd June via the TEP
procedure.
The only pain I am experiencing is an
achey pain on both sides just in from the
pelvic bone when moving or turning and a
slightly more profound "sharper" ache when
laughing, coughing, sneezing. This, I
assume, is where the mesh was stapled.
My testes are aching aswell, but that's
due to the extra blood/fluid in there.
I currently feel no numbness, no pinched
nerves, no stabbing/burning/pinching pain.
The incisions have never hurt, at all.
They were glued back up again (no
stitches).
I was on morphine and codeine (df118)
post-op, Co-dydramol and diclofenac in
recovery and am on diclofenac and
paracetamol at home.
