Pregnancy and false menstruation Posted: 03-18-08 02:27am
I had my last period on jan 2008, after
that light bleeding started from middle of
feb 2008. it was not bleeding but it
comes only when i pee or just wipe. my
breasts are heavy than usual. i feel like
vomiting, when i have something to eat it
stops. i took home preg. tests but it was
-ve. please advice me what would be the
reason.
If your pregnancy test is negative then
you are probably not pregnant. Irregular
bleeding is not a sign of pregnancy. In
your case, that bleeding in Feb. could be
your period because the previous one was
almost a month ago. Women with irregular
periods usually don’t have ovulations.
Without ovulations, all those periods are
not genuine periods. They differ from the
real periods (menstruation) according to
the blood amount, duration and they are
usually painless.
It is very important to exclude any
organic reason for the pain: infection,
tumor, injury etc. So, you may want to
consult your gynecologist about this.
