I am twenty one year old and pregnant with my first child. I am 37 weeks and before i found out i was in a car accident and put on narcotics. After i found out about the pregnancy i had already been on strong narco's for 5 months and was told to switch to Methadone ASAP that it was safe for my baby and would also help with my neck and shoulder pain from my accident. everything was going as planned until i had to up and move with my mother who was being badly abused by my step father. So now i am in a new state and in my third trimester and scared to death. I have no idea where to look, who to trust, and what questions to ask. If anyone can shed some light on this for me... i have relocated from FL to TX.

help.
I think that you should stop the heroin for the sake of the baby. If your love for that baby is strong you will come through this addiction.

I think it would be better if you left the country and your life at home and started afresh with the baby.
