Well I don't know about any wheels - the only wheel I've seen at the doctor's office was the one where they figure out your due date by your last period. But as far as pregnancy planners/journals, there are lots of them out there. I really like "What to Expect When You're Expecting" - it tells you about each month of pregnancy, what to expect at each appointment, the different things you might go through, answers random questions you might have, and has a lot of very good advice for almost any situation. Also, there's the wonderful internet right at your fingertips.
There are also lots of pregnancy journals and planners where they provide space for you to write down how you're feeling that day, what you ate, what you felt, as well as planning out the birth, baby showers, etc. All of these things are available at any bookstore or online at a variety of popular websites. Amazon would be a great place to browse.
Your OB/GYN will schedule your appointments as needed. You don't need to worry about setting them yourself, except for your very first one. The rest will be scheduled for you.
