"she's just scared!" but really, it seems
counter-intuitive of her to tell her
mother if she's that scared. The reason
most girls are scared at that age is
because they think they'll have to tell
their parents (let's face it, too many
girls think a pregnancy is easy-peasy, or
that they'll "just get an abortion") and
his girlfriend immediately went out and
did this. Unless she's that uninformed
about pregnancy, even after hearing about
it from Anthony (which I also find hard to
believe because she somehow learned about
some symptoms like the frequent need to
urinate, but doesn't know that a condom
protects from pregnancy), she's using a
scare tactic.
There are just too many inconsistencies in
her knowledge. I'd think that anyone who'd
know the symptoms she's claiming to have,
would also know they don't appear a couple
days after protected sex, but girls have
proven me wrong here
before. |

Not really. It's possible that her
stressing out can cause it to be late,
along with various other things. I don't
think "just" the fact that you had sex
will cause her to be late.

Stress can cause late ovulation, which in
turn would cause a later period, but if s
woman has already ovulated before the
stress occurred, her period will not be
late.
Also, sex will have no effect on the
timing of a period, first time or
otherwise.

You are very intelligent, which is obvious
from your posts. Also, you were smart
enough to seek answers when you didn't
know something. That's another sign of
intelligence.

Im glad no babies on the way, at least not
this soon.
I just want to say that you are a good guy
Anthony. You have a good head on your
shoulders and will make a great pappa,
when the right time comes.
Just be careful. A lot of young girls have
nothing better to do than to think they
are pregnant. Most of its for love and
attention sadly. Just continue to protect
yourself like you have been.

I hope you pick the "or something", and I
hope that "or something" means waiting
more than a year to have sex. In a year
you will only be 15, and what will be
different then than now? Nothing. you
will still be too young to be a dad,
right?
Every act of sexual intercourse carries
with it the possibility of pregnancy, no
matter how good the birth control is that
you are using. On top of that, you can't
be 100% sure the girl you are with,
whoever that may be, will be taking her bc
(if it is the pill form, for example)
correctly, faithfully, on time, etc. Many
girls get pregnant while taking the pill
for these reasons. Then there are the
girls who don't take their bc correctly on
purpose, because they want to become
pregnant.
Either way, accidentally or purposefully,
you will be responsible to pay child
support for the next 18 years. Please
keep these things in mind, and protect
yourself.
