I have numerous symptoms of pregnancy: sore breasts-tender/sensitive nipples, frequent urination, drastic breast growth, feeling tired. I had a bladder infection/urinary tract infection at the beginning of this month, my period is 48 days late. and when i went in for the bladder infection, they did a urine pregnancy test and it took about an hour, they said that the tests showed a very clear positive 1st and then faded to a negative. they said to give it a week, or so, and to allow the bladder infection to heal and then do another urine pregnancy test. So i went in yesterday and a different dr had the same problem. they did 6 tests and all showed a very clear positive and then faded to a negative.the only other thing he noticed was increased white blood cells, which he said are from the infection, that didn't fully clear up. he wants me to go back in on tuesday to see again. about the pregnancy test.. has anyone had this happen? or know what would cause it???

No this is a strange occurance isnt it,Have you done your own home test yet??,your doctors will have a huge batch from the same delivery could be a bad load is the only thing i can think of get a cheap home test see if you get the same thing,if yours stays positve take it too the doctors with you,if i was you if it stays positive do 2 or 3 and take them all with you lol, could also be the infection messing with the tests but if you know in your mind your pregnant then its pretty likely you are i always know in my mind for sure im pregnant and ive never been wrong yet! Also urine infections are common in pregnancy ive had 2 so far and im only 19 weeks lol not fun but with my first son i had none so i find that weird but doc says very common in pregnancy. Also ask for a blood test if they dont resolve it soon im really suprised they havent done this allready as you will have the results in a couple of days,Have they put you on folic acid just incase you are??? its important to take it in the first 12 weeks if they havent then you can get it at any pharmacy good luck and keep me posted Smile
