Q: Pregnant after hernia surgery ?

my boyfriend had hernia when he was born and they had operate him right there and there. now that he is older, he thinks that the hernia made is penis small. As for me, I had urine infection when i was 16.... when we have sex, were having hard time getting me pregnant. We've been trying for 5 months now and still negative. What's wrong? Is it me? or him? does it affect me because i had urine infection? HELP!

Penis size ad UTIs does not have anything to do with fertility. He can go to the doctor to have his sperm count checked. It is easy and fast.A hernia operation does not normally affect his fertility.

It can take as long as a year to get pregnant before a doctor will even consider any treatment for infertility. Only about 86 of every 100 couples that try to get pregnant will be pregnant after a year.

Do you know that there are only a few days every cycle when you have any chance of getting pregnant?

Hey, I'm from Hawaii too;). The best time to try is when you are ovulating. You can buy ovulation kits pretty much anywhere. They are usually sold right next to the Hpts. Try Longs or WalMart.
