hello. okay so ive started my period on the 17th for like the past 4 or 5 months now but this month i was a couple days late,or atleast i thought. i usually dont have anything wrong with my periods, but on the 19th i was cramping a little not as much as usually do, but i took midol before things got worse.. when i went to do my business i found pink discharge and then a little more so i put a tampon on, well by the next morning im usually really heavy, instead i found nothing but a little colored discharge. and nothing but that since. i'm giving myself a little more time to start before i test, but im thinking if im pregnant, do you think that the fact that i took 2 midol could effect the baby? or does this even sound like i could be pregnant or just some period thing? i just need good advice. thanks :]

As long as you don't continue to take midol it shouldn't really hurt the baby in my opinion. There are a lot of women that unfortunately don't know they are pregnant, and they will still drink alcohol or take other medications and have healthy babies. As long as you stop now, there should not be too big of a problem.

However, I wouldn't even worry about it until you test! Smile If you are at the point where its your missed period, I would go get a test and take it tomorrow with your first morning urine. If you had unprotected sex, there is always a possibility of pregnancy. Have you been using protection?
