so this man/woman is making a
reproductive/scientific point [in his/her
eyes] or trying to make something big of
this happen so scientists can make a gene
in men to have a reproductive part. I bet
there will be scientists in a year or
maybe less trying to create something so
men can reproduce. because this guy girl
obviously is making a stance saying i am a
man but keeping her reproductive parts.
....or he she just watched too many movies
with arnold schwarzenegger lol

Krystine, did you read the article?
Please read the article first and then
comment. He isnt doing it to have
ANYTHING to do with scientist trying to
find a gyne to make men be able to carry
babies. That is not the purpose of this
man/woman having this baby.
S/He is doing this because he is married
to his wife "Nancy" who is unable to carry
children. It has been a dream of their's
to have children and this was the only way
for them "in their eyes" To each his own!
We had an hour long discussion about this
couple at work Friday morning
He is still technically a she because of
all the parts of a woman that he still
has. What I want to know is how does one
LEGALLY become a man or a woman from the
other sex when you dont FULLY become the
other sex? Wouldn't you think that you
would have to FULLY become the other sex
before you would be able to Legally become
the other sex?

Thank you. I have been wondering the same
thing. How can you be a 'man' while still
retaining all your female parts (other
than the breasts)? There are many many
many women who have had hysterecomies AND
had their breasts removed - does this make
them men? Could they now apply for some
kind of man-ship or something? I was not
aware you didn't need a penis to be a man.
I thought it was a requirement!

I was watching something last night that
made me think of this story. There was a
woman who felt for all her life that she
was a man. Just like this story she had
her breasts removed but kept her
reproductive organs. Apparently in this
state they consider themselves transgender
(some as this story) and if they have the
full surgery they are considered
transsexual. She said that some people
never want to take it another step for
whatever reason and identify (for lack of
a better word) as being transgender
better.I don't know if that makes sense (I
have a link if anyone wants to see it, its
about 1/2 through or so).
