pregnant on birth control pills ? Posted: 07-13-08 10:16am
My last period started on June 11. ON
JUne 28, 29 and 30 my normal monthly
discharge was pink tinged when I wiped -
but nothing in my panties. (I googled and
everything I found said maybe implantation
bleeding???) I started my placebo pills
on July 9.
I was scared and tested on July 10 -
negative. I thought good my period will
start but as of still no period.
Am I safe to start my new pack on
Wednesday even if I have not had a
period??
I am having cramps in my back. Lots of
severe headaches. I also have nausea and
dry heaves - I think from my headaches - I
usually puke with pain.
Please advise!!!!!!!!!

how long have you been on the pill and are
you good about taking it at the exact same
time everyday?
I usually dont get my period until the
very last placebo pill and continue my
period through 1-2 of the next pack of the
active pills...so when does it normally
come for you?
I would say go ahead and start your next
pack of pills...chances are if you are on
birth control AND tested negative you're
not pregnant...some pills will make you
skip your period all together, its a side
effect of yaz many women experience(though
I have yet to thank goodness or i'd freak
out)

I have been on the same pill Lutera for
six month. before that I had been on
Loestrin 24 and had trouble with it.
I am good about taking it on time.
usually I start by the third placebo pill
and will stop by the second or third pill
of the new pack.
My periods are lighter when I am on the
pill but I have NEVER missed a period!!!!
also i have to take birth control in order
to keep my cycle - I have PCOS.

take another test. HCG levels double every
ay if you are pregnant, so test again!
