I have a 14 month old son and got on the depo needle shortly after he was born. After being on the "shot" for almost a year i decided to discontinue it because of weight gain and severe headaches. I was on NO BC for about 2 months and then got on BC pills. Keep in mind No period. I sort of liked the idea of no periods so i told the doctor that i haven't had a period yet, and i have been off the needle for 2 months, he suggested that i take my pills straight thru (no sugar pills) and i wont get a period. But for my first month being on the pills i should get a period. (which i didn't) so i have been doing that.... So it has been about 2 months being on the pills and no period but i recently had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago and i messed up a few times during this month on my pills.:S I took a pregnancy test and it came up negative which was a relief but i sleep all day, i wake up every night at 4am feeling like i'm going to pee myself and when i go to the washroom not too much comes out, which kind of has me second guessing myself...can someone please help me to ease my mind a little bit

if you are worried about being pregnant go to the doctors and get a blood test done. my good friend was on depo for 2 years and go off it in june and just got her period on sept 2 and the doctor told her it could happen.

Changing birth control can affect your body in many many ways. Since you've had a child within the past two years and then immediately went on birth control and changed so quickly, your body probably hasn't had the time to fully recover and get back into a normal state.
I would see a doctor for a blood test, it may just be that your hormones were so bustled about from the shot and pills that they just need some time to settle. But I would still see a doctor just to be sure.
