It isn't likely. You are still protected
while taking your sugar pills.

...what is the sugar pill? is it birth
control...
if that is the case, you would have had no
form of bc and could become pregnant.
...are you wanting to be pregnant?

Could you explain why they are taken
during your period?
Sorry i have never used sugar pills nor
do i know what they do.
And I would suggest getting on birth
control AND using condoms to avoid
pregnancy

Sugar pills are your placebo week. Its the
week you're supposed to have your period.
There isn't any hormones in those pills so
you have your period.
As long as you have been taking your pills
correctly up to the placebo week(you
haven't missed any pills) then you were
protected when you had sex. I rarely take
my pills during my placebo week, they are
only there to help keep your schedule.

i am on birth control pills called yasmin.
there are 4 weeks of pills in the pack. 3
weeks are the pills that contain the birth
control medicine. the last week, the
fourth week is the sugar pills. these
pills have no hormone in them. you expect
your period during the sugar pill week.
i was at the end of my period when this
whole thing happened with my boyfriend.

I thought you were on birth control before
you got pregnant. How can you not know how
it works?
Fantastic job of explaining it, Maddie and
Lauren.
Lauren: you are protected. You are not at
risk of pregnancy if you have been taking
your pills correctly.

Sugar pills are placebo pills. They are
taken for the week of your period. Usually
you have your period around about the
3-4th sugar/placebo pill.

You should research your birth control
options for after the baby is born,
Krystine. You'll need to start after your
6 week check up.

The placebo week is the reason WHY you get
your period.
The period on BC pills is not a REAL
period, it is simply bleeding that happens
when you stop using hormones for the week.

Then wouldn't it be kind of hard for you
to give advice about birth control if you
don't know anything about it?
