So I never get sick! I've never had the flu ... and now that I am 40 weeks pregnant I've gotten sick! OF ALL TIMES?!? I woke up this morning with a sore swollen throat its difficult to breath this isn't pregnancy related right? Or just bad luck! Me being sick couldn't harm the baby right? My main worry is being sick whilst in labour(not having enough energy to push). Will the baby catch my cold ... coz colds/flu usually take a couple of days to get over and I am getting induced in 10 days.

Pregnancy makes you more prawn to viral infections utis tooth infections etc flu,cold As your immune system is down that little bit get it checked out theyl probably tell you ned rest and my midwife told me with my flu you can take honey and lemon drinks and pure paracetamol to help with it
