Between 50-75% of sexually active men and
women have an HPV infection at some time
in their life. your partner can have it,
but, because, in most cases HPV infection
is without symptoms, he may not know.
Don't stress about how to talk with him
about this.
This infection can be catch even if you
very with only one partner, years ago.
Sometimes, body immune system appears to
get rid of the infection, but, this may
take months to years.
Pregnancy can cause genitals warts to grow
at a fast rate and if they are situated in
birth canal, will cause the birth canal to
be blocked. They can, also, make urination
difficult for the mother. So, when active
genital warts are present in the birth
canal, c-section is performed.
Sometimes, the virus is passed to the baby
through delivery, leading to formation of
warts in baby's mouth and throat.
This can be, also, avoided with c-section,
cause the warts can be life-threatening
for the baby (they are treatable)
