pvcs while trying to sleep

hey
i dont know if anybody can relate to this but i suffer from pvcs and have had an ablation for svt which was considered a success.but i still suffer from the pvcs which can be multiple at times and while generally during the day i can go about my normal day to day activites at night time esp when going to sleep mt heart goes all over the place.my pvcs really flare up and i find it very difficult to sleep cause my heart feels like it is going to stop.their is no panic here ,if i turn on my left it will beat erratic and the same on my right --if i lay on my back it is not as bad but i can feel my heart thumping in my head or out through my back --my heart rate at these times would be 60-75 give or take .......i am seeing my cardio in a few weeks but i was wondering if anybody can relate esp when lying down or lying on the left hand side

any comment welcome here
thanks a lot

It is hard to say what is wrong with your heart rate during the sleep without ECG recording. You need to wear a holter monitor to see what exactly is going on with your heart rhythm during the sleep.

I have the same thing happen from time to time. not a nighty or even monthly event. When the PVCs do occure it will last for about a week then go away. When I have them they are random but rarely back to back to back. The sensation is as if my heart missed a beat. As they continue to go on they are accompanied with pain on each PVC. Not a sharp pain more dull or blunt and my whole heart area feels like a BIG pound.

I talked with my doctor about this and wore the holter for 24 hrs. Of corse the PVCs dont happen when you want them to. Meaning the machine picked up nothing. Not even one. It was determined I am fine and have nothing to worry about. Also contact my doctor as soon as they start up again to try another test. So as for me, I don't know why they happen. Unfortunatly the VA is not quick enough to resond when that week attack starts. So by the time the holter is ordered I am 2 weeks since first attack and they are done. For now I just live with it. May be a bad choice but VA does not want to look further into it.
