I was married for 7 yrs and my vaginal discharge was fine.Iam in a new relationship now its been six months and i have had my discharge change dramatically.Im wet all the time even when im not horny at all,one day it will be the regular consistancy of what it use to be like but when i have sex its soaked to where he cant feel anything.other days its thick and sticky and if i rub my fingers together it crumbs up.This has been happening way before i had the abortion in june at 2 weeks pregnant.I know my cervix has beeen open to where i can stick my finger in it. It was also opened before the abortion.It stayed open after my daughter.So everthing is fine until we start having sex then i think he hits my cervix inside and this stuff just keeps coming out, its so thick sometimes,I just want this to go away so bad its ruining my whole sex life.Can you have vaginitis for 6 months?Please W/b .I thank you for your time. thank you ,jackie wagner

Current medical status: my vaginal discharge has changed and has been like this for 6 months now.i think i might have vaginitis i really dont know what it is.Or maybe my body is just changing. Current medical treatment: i have taken cipro and am currently taking septra Cervix of the uterus is normally opened, but neither abortion nor delivery could make your cervix permanently opened so wide that your partner's penis could later enter the womb. I don't think that sex has any connection with the changes of the vaginal discharge. The abortion you had could make you susceptible to vaginal infections. Vaginal infection (vaginitis) usually provokes greater production of vaginal discharge. You should consult a gynecologist.
