I had my kidney transplant on April 1,
2008. My chief complaint is the tremors
that the Prograf causes. Not only do I
feel the tremors in my hands but feel the
shaking in my "core" (torso) extending
down into to my knees and ankles. This
feeling makes me feel weak and insecure in
walking. Therefore, I feel as though I
can't exercise properly because of the
shaking and weakness I feel. The labs
keep coming back great and the doc says I
am where I should be as far as the
healing. Has anyone else experienced this
problem and does it get better? I have
complained enough to the doc that he is
referring me to a neurologist... he thinks
they may be able to "tweek" some meds to
help... will let you know how that works.
As for the rest of it, I thank God every
day for my sister (who was my living
donor) and giving me another chance at
life.
