Propranolol for anxiety treatment Posted: 10-19-07 22:05pm
I am on a beta blocker pill called
Propranolol 80mgs every 12 hours, it
treats severe anxiety and prevents migrain
headaches it also slow your heart rate
down as well but has exercise tolerance.
When use first start on it, you will
notice total fatigue and find it hard to
walk fast or run for this very reason alot
of people will not take it as it slows
them down. my body is well used to it
now, been on it since 1999 and it has
helped me and now I go to the gym my pulse
has been as high as 180bpm but this beta
blocker regulates this and prevents a
fatal heart attack it wont allow my pulse
to go any higher and it doesnt slow me
down anymore.
The dose of 160mgs a day is to prevent a
heart attack
Warning this tablet can lead to death if
taken as an overdose it effects your blood
pressure.
