Pseudomonas aeruginosa and breast reduction surgery

Have you ever seen a case of psedomonoas infection in breasts from a breast reduction? I have had 5 debridements and I am awaiting a double mastectomy to remove the necrotic tissue. I lost both of my nipples as well. Is this common during a breast reduction?

Current medical status: Psedomonoas Infectious Disease
Current medical treatment: Awaiting surgery

Your breast reduction operation got complicated with a bacterial infection (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common provoker of surgical wound infections. Surgical wound infections represent about 15 % of all the infections acquired during the hospitalization (nosocomial infections). The risk for surgical wound infection in surgical operations like yours (breast reduction) is low (about 2%).
