Hi all. I am 37, with "cool" skin. If it
isn't acne it is rosacea. Here lately I
have had a knot just below my eye brow,
near the bridge of my nose. Like any guy,
I gave it a good squeeze. (I mean a good
one...ie: it hurt!)
About 4 hours later, the area between my
nose and my eye swelled up. Now, 7 hours
later, my upper eye lid is swollen and my
eye is 1/2 shut.
The only part that is aching, is the knot
itself. I have large acne bumps (boils,
whatever) from time to time, but this one
takes the cake.
Do I need to be concerned where this is
located? My vision is fine, if I can keep
my eye lid out of the way.

It should be fine as long as you leave it
alone!!!
Try putting ice on the area, that
generally eases swelling.
If it gets any worse, go to the doctor.
But above all..... DON'T PICK AT IT, LEAVE
IT ALONE!

Thanks. That is what I was thinking. I
am starting a regimen of zithromax which
will help control the acne so I can use
the steroid (topical) without the boils.
For now, call me "Winkie".
